Welcome to the 2021 Gear Swap presented by Muscle Powered! This is a fundraising event for Muscle Powered, and is intended to be a kind of community yard sale specifically for “muscle-powered” gear: bicycles, bike parts, hiking and backpacking gear, skiing and snowshoeing equipment, and general outdoor gear.

This page is for registering to have a vendor space at the Gear Swap. Registrations are limited to the first 30 paid sign ups, and preregistration is required. NO "day of" swap registration. 

Due to permit and license restrictions, the following are NOT allowed at the gear swap: hunting gear (including guns, ammo, archery equipment, and knives), gas cartridges or fuel for stoves, motorsports equipment, or any used safety gear, such as bike helmets.

Additional rules/info:

1.     Set up begins at 7am, and you agree to have all personal items, including trash or unsold gear, removed from the premises by 12pm (noon) at the latest.
 
2.     No tables, tents, or chairs will be provided. You are welcome to bring ONE table (up to 8’ long), up to two chairs, and anything else you need to be comfortable. Pop up tents are discouraged – if you bring a tent it must be 10' x 10' or smaller and you will be required to weight the legs with a minimum of at least 25 pounds per leg (www.wikihow.com/Hold-Down-a-Canopy-Tent-on-Concrete)*. We are NOT permitted to hammer any anchors into the ground or tie off tents.
 
3.     In addition to the registration fee, we request that you donate a portion of your sales to Muscle Powered. We’re asking for 5% of total sales over $100 to support getting locals safely out on the roads and trails. Payments can be made in cash or with PayPal on-site.
 
4.     Unsold gear may be donated to Muscle Powered if it is clean, safe, and usable. Muscle Powered reserves the right to refuse, donate, trash, or resell items at our discretion.
 
5.     No refunds for vendor fees. That includes if the event needs to be modified or cancelled for any reason, including weather or changes in COVID restrictions. That also includes reasons such as lack of overall attendance or lack of sales while at the swap.
 
6.     Muscle Powered is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items while participating in the gear swap. Please do not ask our staff or volunteers to watch your gear or “keep an eye” on your table – Muscle Powered will not be providing security for items at the swap.

7. There is no parking next to vendor spaces, so be prepared to carry all of your gear at least 50' from the nearest street parking spaces, maybe significantly further.

8. Masks are required for unvaccinated people and a good idea for everyone, given the possibility of crowds.
