Wanting to improve your mountain biking skills? Come join Muscle Powered in partnership with the Kit Carson Senator's coaches for a beginners introduction to mountain biking on the trails behind Western Nevada College. This clinic is open to beginner/intermediate adult mountain bikers. 

This is a free event with suggested donations to benefit the Kit Carson Senators Cycling team. 

The clinic will focus on body position on the bike and how it relates to descending and climbing as well as braking and cornering. We will also briefly discuss trail etiquette. Plan on 2.5-3 hours of on the bike instruction followed by a short trail ride.

Date: Sunday, May 21st, 2023 

Time: 8:00 AM, participants should plan on arriving 10-15 min prior to the start time. The clinic will be 3.5-4 hours long. 

Mountain Bikes must be in good working condition and participants should bring enough water for four hours and snacks. Make sure to  wear closed toed shoes, bring a helmet and participants should come dressed in comfortable riding clothes and remember to bring sunscreen! 

Location of the parking lot is off of College across from 54 Fire Station.
